Only the information you enter in the form: name, email, phone, location, area of interest, experience level, availability, education, an optional LinkedIn profile and your message. We do not request CVs or attachments through this form. Please do not include sensitive data (such as health, religious beliefs or political opinions). It is not needed to assess your application.

Your consent, given when you submit the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and the steps you request before a possible employment contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
We keep your application for up to two years from the date you submit it, so that we can consider you for future opportunities. After that period — or earlier, if you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it — your data is erased. If you join Somani, the relevant information moves to your employee file under a separate notice.
Only the people involved in recruitment at Somani: human resources and the managers of the relevant area. We use service providers for website hosting and email, who act as processors on our behalf under data processing agreements. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
You can ask to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw your consent, using the contacts above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
Applications are reviewed by people. We do not make decisions about candidates based solely on automated processing or profiling.
