360° isn't a slogan. It's the supply chain.

A childrenswear brand rarely needs just one category. It needs apparel, bath textiles, bedding and nursery accessories to arrive under one quality standard, one timeline and one point of contact. Concentrating those categories with a single partner simplifies the supply chain and lets a brand launch a coherent world, not four disconnected product lines.

A stricter standard, by design

Decades of know-how, applied where it matters most.

Childrenswear inherits everything Somani has built over forty years of vertical integration, but held to a stricter bar. The same fibre sourcing, weaving and finishing that serve our other divisions are certified and controlled specifically for products meant for a baby's or child's skin.

Made in
Portugal

Since 1986

Origin, not just an address

Genuinely made in Portugal.

“Made in Portugal” gets used loosely across this industry — and matters even more for a parent choosing what touches a child's skin. At Somani, every stage of childrenswear happens at our own facilities in Santo Tirso, Porto, under the same certified process as every other division. Nothing is subcontracted abroad and relabelled.

Product categories

From newborn to pre-teen.

Every category below is built on the same certified fibres and the same quality standard — shown here in sample images, not as a catalogue to browse.

01

Newborn

Delicate, organic-first pieces where softness against the skin and safety come before anything else: apparel, swaddles and first essentials, developed to the tightest certification tier we work to.

Every seam, trim and closure is chosen with a newborn's skin in mind, not adapted from an adult construction.

Organic cotton · Minimal trims · GOTS & OEKO-TEX® Class I

02

Toddler

Apparel built for movement and easy care, in fabrics and constructions that hold up to a toddler's day — repeated washing, active play — without losing comfort or colour.

Easy care · Reinforced construction · Everyday fabrics

03

Organic Essentials

GOTS-certified organic cotton at the core of the offer — base layers and everyday pieces built on the certification that has anchored Somani since 2006, not a recent addition to the range.

GOTS since 2006 · Organic cotton · Everyday layers

04

Nursery Accessories

Bedding, textile decor and soft accessories for the nursery, developed with the same fabric quality and certification as the apparel around them, so the whole room, not just the wardrobe, meets the standard.

How safety is built in

From certified fibre to a child's wardrobe.

A closer look at what “360°” actually means in production: the certification and control that carry through every category, not only the ones that advertise it.

01 · Certified sourcing

Fibre chosen for children first

Organic and certified cotton sourced under GOTS and OCS, selected to the tighter tolerances childrenswear requires.

02 · Safety-first construction

Built for a child's body

Seams, trims, closures and finishes are chosen for comfort and safety, category by category — newborn, toddler and beyond.

03 · Testing & compliance

Checked to the strictest tier

OEKO-TEX® Class I testing and quality control applied across the division, not only to a certified sub-range.

Development approach

One partner. Every category your nursery needs.

There's no fixed list of categories to choose from. Every 360° programme starts with the brand's own assortment. Together, we decide which categories to combine (apparel, bath, bedding, accessories) and build them under one certified standard and one timeline, instead of splitting the brief across separate suppliers.

The right combination isn't a template. It's built with you.

The same standard, held to a higher bar.

Products for children carry a different weight of responsibility, and we hold childrenswear to the same certification and quality control as every other Somani division: GOTS-certified organic cotton, OEKO-TEX® Class I skin-contact safety, and the traceability that comes with a supplier who wove the fabric in the first place.

Questions

About Childrenswear 360°.

What brands ask us most often before starting a childrenswear or nursery programme.

Can we combine apparel, bedding and accessories in a single programme?

Yes. That combination is the point of the 360° approach. A single project team can run apparel, bath, bedding and nursery accessories in parallel, under one timeline and one quality standard, instead of splitting the brief across multiple suppliers.

What does OEKO-TEX® Class I mean in practice for babywear?

Class I is the strictest OEKO-TEX® category, reserved for products intended for babies and small children. It sets the tightest limits on substances that may come into contact with skin. It's the standard we apply across the Childrenswear 360° division, not only to a certified sub-range.

How do we decide which categories and fabrics fit our brand?

There's no fixed catalogue to choose from: it's an advisory process. We work through the brief together (which categories, which certifications matter most, what price point) to put together the right combination, rather than fitting the brand into a pre-set assortment.

One brief. Every category your nursery needs.
